FrontBridge Managed Messaging Services Update

This month FrontBridge Technologies released its first technical update to their comprehensive set of managed messaging services as a Microsoft subsidiary. FrontBridge Managed Messaging Services 5.2 will provide organizations with more control over their messaging environment, streamlining overall IT management and minimizing administrative costs.

Key benefits of FrontBridge Managed Messaging Services 5.2 include:

Unified Policy Filter: By merging the content and policy filters in the Admin Center, FrontBridge provides administrators with a powerful tool to regulate mail flow to further tighten security, increase compliance, or enforce corporate policy, all within a single interface. For Secure Email customers, a HIPAA rule set checkbox was added to the policy filter to allow organizations dealing in Protected Health Information (PHI) to help protect sensitive data with one, simple click.

Enhanced Directory Services: The enhanced directory services help simplify and streamline the process of creating accounts via a central location for account creation and setup to reduce management time. For example, spam quarantine and directory service accounts were centralized in the Admin Center management interface, reducing administration time for common directory services tasks.

More Granular Reporting: New enhancements allow administrator to generate reports at a more granular level including traffic, usage, and false positive reports based on individual domains not just the entire organization or single domains. Reports for Secure Email customers were also improved to give administrators information detailing the users in their organization have successfully setup their accounts and the number of inbound or outbound encrypted messages that were received or sent.

These new features and service enhancements are available at no extra charge for all Microsoft Managed Messaging Services customers.
