Dialogic's IP Media Gateway products will provide Exchange Server 2007 with a unified messaging system, giving enterprises a common inbox for e-mail, voicemail and fax messages, as well as calendars and contacts from a variety of clients. The gateways also feature an audio and signal link between legacy PBX (private branch exchange) voice systems and the VOIP (voice over IP) based Exchange server, allowing businesses ranging from small and midsize businesses to enterprises to set up the unified messaging features without having to switch their entire voice infrastructure to an IP based system.
