Responsibilities of a Group and Shared Mailbox Owner
If you have been designated as an owner on a group/shared mailbox you are responsible for maintaining the mailbox just as you would your own.
You are responsible for:
- keeping the mailbox within the standard size limitations
- Delete unnecessary mail items
- Empty the deleted items folder
- *Archive old mail
- granting other users permission to access the mailbox folders
- *By granting delegate access, other users can open folders, create items, respond to requests, etc. Delegate access also gives the user permission to send on behalf of the shared mailbox.

- If you do not want to give send on behalf of permissions, you
can grant permission on individual folders.
- Right click on Outlook Today grant the user Reviewer permission
- Right click on the folder to be shared and grant the required permission
