What are some keyboard shortcuts for Outlook 2000?

Shortcut keys are helpful and can increase productivity. Shortcut keys are keyboard key combinations that produce a result. For example, in Microsoft Word, the combination of the control key and the letter 'C' (a.k.a., "Ctrl+C") will copy selected text, and "Ctrl+V" will paste the copied text where you want it.

Ctrl+N Create a new item (email message, appointment, or contact) based on what part of Outlook is currently active. For example, if the Inbox is active, a Ctrl+N will open a new message. If the Calendar is active, then Ctrl+N will open a new appointment or meeting request

Ctrl+Shift+A Create a new Calendar appointment
Ctrl+Shift+C Create a new Contact
