Exchange "12" DevCon Scheduled

Microsoft is hosting an Exchange "12" Developer Conference at its Redmond, Wash. campus on Nov. 7 and 8, the Microsoft Exchange team said in a blog posting on Tuesday afternoon.

"The conference will provide selected ISVs with an early look at the “E12” investment areas and will provide you with an early look at the “E12” development roadmap, describe the characteristic of new investments we are making in Exchange 12, and provide an opportunity for you to see first hand what new features and development environments that will be optimized in “E12,” KC Lemson, a program manager with the Exchange Server team, wrote in the blog.

Exchange SLA Scorecard Launches With Service Offering

Microsoft launches the Exchange SLA, solution and architecture of the service-level agreement (SLA) Scorecard Solution Accelerator for a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 environment. The solution accelerator can set SLAs, administer outages, and analyze performance and trend reports across the messaging services.

E12 Developer Roadmap

E12 Developer Roadmap is available to download. This was presented in PDC on 15 September 2005, it provides a great overview of these great new developer interfaces. Microsoft's new Web Services will offer remotely-accessible Outlook-compatible business logic for all PIM types, new Managed Agent APIs for processing mail flow provide full access to either the raw MIME or message parts Outlook renders. Also, new Monad scripting experience delivers the power and ease-of-use that our customers deserve. All of these new API’s have been designed with Visual Studio development in mind.
